ulatencyd doesn't work without cgmanager restart

When ulatencyd is installed most manipulations to the lxc containers (including such innocent commands as lxc-info) must be preceeded with
   sudo cgmanager stop
   sudo cgmanager start

otherwise they fail with "call to cgmanager_move_pid_abs_sync(blkio) failed: invalid request"

$ apt-cache policy ulatencyd
ulatencyd:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 0.5.0-8

        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/universe amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Removing the ulatencyd package (and rebooting) solves the problem with lxc.
