Bruno, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page (not the daily folder) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-VERSION-NUMBER

where VERSION-NUMBER is the version number of the kernel you tested exactly shown as:
kernel-fixed-upstream-3.17-rc7

Bruno, the next step is to fully reverse commit bisect the kernel in order to identify the fix commit. Could you please do this following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection#How_do_I_reverse_bisect_the_upstream_kernel.3F ?

I've been testeing kernels and I found that:
1. the bug is fixed in the upstream kernel version 3.16-rc1;
2. the bug is NOT fixed in the upstream kernel version 3.15.10.

For now, I don't know how to use git yet... so I think it will take some time to finish the reverse commit thing.

I need some help here...
I had type the following commands at the terminal:

git clone git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git linux-stable && git clone git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/kteam-tools.git kteam-tools
cd linux-stable/
git bisect start
git bisect bad v3.16-rc1
git bisect good 3.15.10

After this, I've got the following :

fatal: Needed a single revision
Bad rev input: 3.15.10

Now I don't know what to do ore how to build a new kernel with the changes i wanna test. Any help?
