Spellcheck holds a single word reply in messaging indicator

STEPS:
1. Send an sms to your Ubuntu Phone ensuring the messaging app is closed
2. Drag down the messaging indicator
3. Click on the message
4. Type in a single word
5. Note the send button is not highlighted as clickable
6. Click on the single word in the spellchecker bar
7. Note the send button is now clickable.

EXPECTATION:
I expect to be able to hit the send button and the word be sent

ACTUAL:
I can not send the word. If I type in the word and hit send it closes the message making it seem like it got sent but in reality it didn't. If I click on the word in the spellcheck bar it is then available to send.
