Bug Description

Basemap layer is missing in map thumbnail. This feature works in vanilla Geonode 2.0.

Basemap is still missing in maps thumbnails not saved from geoexplorer (i.e. maps created with fixtures or icebox).

This is not a bug but "a feature": thumbnails are generated using the map's div html content in geoexplorer passed to geoserver renderer (mapfish print). There's no way, server-side, to generate such code. In this case only a preview of the layer (generated by geoserver) is used.
