Bug Description

Linux Mint 17

The problem arises when I move my laptop from my home, where it is directly wired to the Ethernet cable, to my office, where the Ethernet connection is provided indirectly through a base where I plug my laptop. NetworkManager does not realize there is a change and does not reconfigure the DHCP with the parameter of the office network. It does the same in the reverse direction.

Therefore, to make things working, I need to switch off the Ethernet connection and then to switch it on. In previous version, this worked gracefully and automatically: no human intervention was needed.

The problem happens each time I move my laptop to or from my base in the office.

My laptop in an HP EliteBook 8560p and I think there is only one compatible base (this one does not provide any information).
