Bug Description

If I open pantheon-files and try to add a color label to a folder or file it works flawlessly, but if I open a tab in pantheon-files you can no longer assing color labels to folders/files. You can open or close tabs but you need to close pantheon-files to be able to add color labels again.

Are you sure? I've tried to reproduce it and can't find the bug; I have been able to add a color label to a folder. Then I opened up a tab and was able to color another folder.

Is there a way to take a log? a degub mode?

I can't take a screenshot of the right-click menu, but between Properties and Compress there is a blank menu entry, a few pixels hight. As I said, this only happens after I open another tab in files. The folders/files that have a label assigned keep ther colors, it's only the ability to assing new color labels to folders or files.

Also, it doesn't matter if I'm in list or icons view.

Maybe it is related to the trusty-lts kernel? I need to use it for some hardware compatibility issues.
