Selecting days in previous/next month not possible

Bug Description
If trying to click on the visible last days of the previous month or the first days of the next month that might be visible, nothing happens. It should behave the same way as the Wingpanel calendar such that clicking on such a day:
1. selects it
2. scrolls to the corresponding next/previous month
