Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-psb

The Poulsbo X.org driver requires EXA 2.2, but only EXA 2.1 is available in xserver-xorg-core. As a result X isn't accelerated on my Poulsbo-based Crown Beach system.

Symptoms are poor video performance (choppy animation, slow scrolling) and the following in my xorg log:

(EE) EXA(0): driver's EXA version requirements (2.2) are incompatible with EXA version (2.1)
(II) PSB(0): Debug: psbExaClose
(EE) PSB(0): [EXA] Acceleration initialization failed. Disabling EXA acceleration.

I'm using xserver-xorg-video-psb 0.2.1-1ubuntu2 and xserver-xorg-core 2:1.3.0.0.dfsg-12ubuntu2. EXA 2.2 is new in xserver 1.4 (1.3.99.x), which isn't scheduled to be included in gutsy.

This patch is against the latest upstream code at moblin.org, but should apply cleanly to xserver-xorg-video-psb in Gutsy.
