Gnome Dictionary can't find localhost dictionary

Bug Description

Ubuntu 7.10 Gusty Gibbon with latest "dictd" package by 30th Auguest

Once I disabled "dictd" service, then I opened it when I found local gnome dictionary doesn't. But the software still cannot find any dictionaries and so as strategies.

Now, if I type a word, its feedback :

Error while retrieving the definition

Lookup failed for host 'localhost': Unknown error
