Menus don't work properly during and after full screen mode.

Binary package hint: firefox

Some of the menus work during full screen mode, and others don't. Which ones don't work varies. On coming out of full screen mode, the same menus still don't work.

Clicking on the menus when not in full screen mode, the word is highlighted, but the menu doesn't appear.

This occurs in Windows and in Linux.

If I remember the keyboard shortcut (e.g. alt+T -> A for add-ons) then that still seems to work.

Thank you for reporting this bug. Can you please give us step by step instructions on how to reproduce this and can you please give us more detail on what menus dont work what ones do work and when? im not completely sure what menus you mean.

Press F11 to work in full screen mode. After some time (don't know if the
length of time is important) press F11 to come back to normal mode. Click on
each of the menus in turn - usually one or more of the menus will not work.
E.g. I'm now in a net cafe, using Win XP, and used full screen mode and have
come back out of it - and when I click "File" the word File is highlighted
but there is no menu displayed.

It can be any of the menus - File and/or Edit and/or View etc. I've detected
no pattern.

I have clearer answer as to when the bug occurs.

It seems that if I try to open a menu while in full screen mode (e.g. by
pressing Alt+F) then nothing happens; I then come out of full screen mode,
but that menu will be the one that does not display, while the other menus
operate normally.

in gutsy, i don't see menus at all during full screen mode. When returning to normal mode, all menus appear to pop-up. Clicking on some entries worked as well. So I guess, this issue doesn't exist in gutsy anymore. If you still see it with latest daily livecd, please reopen.

Are you sure about this? Because the bug is also in Windows.

To reproduce the bug, it is essential to first attempt to display a menu in
full screen mode. E.g. press Alt+F, then leave full screen mode and try
Alt+F again.

Btw, it would be nice if menus did work in full screen mode - I can't see
why they should be disabled, as it's just inconvenient sometimes.)
