Bug Description
Hi, I realise this (probably) isn't a fatrace.py issue - its a fanotify limitation, at least when it was introduced.
If, while running fatrace, one does a rename or hardlink, they are not reported.

Linux 5.1 finally supports this, I just added support for that to master.
