Binary package hint: pitivi

not sure the details. installed with add/remove programs program, then went to launch it from the menu and it never started. i did a restart a little bit later and when i logged in it asked if i wanted to report the program crash so i did.

I've just installed pitivi on gutsy and I can launch it without problems.

Could you try to launch it in a terminal and paste the log ?

This is what I got when running it. I JUST got through updating everything and did a reboot and just tried to run pitivi

Maybe you can try to install the package jackd before running pitivi.

It's strange because in my computer, jackd isn't installed.

installing jackd didnt work.

maybe now this could finally be declared a bug and something done to correct it? when i first reported it, there was a LOT of information given.
