Bug Description

Affected: Gutsy, Feisty, Edgy, Dapper, ...
Architecture: PowerPC

Pre.: Powerbook with nvidia-card available
Act.: Insert LiveCD
Obs.: While Bottsplash is visible you see the first fault: Bootsplash look really ugly. After the system is up, it isn't possible to change the current brightness state (FN+F1,FN+F2).

In my case the only thing to get this work, is to recompile the kernel with one of the followed options:
riva_fb or nvidia_fb

Thanks Basti!
