This bug depends on a wxSound bug (http://trac.wxwidgets.org/ticket/14899).
As per comment 23 (http://trac.wxwidgets.org/ticket/14899#comment:23), it can be resolved by installing osspd package.

Need further investigate on Windows (perhaps as per comment 22 [http://trac.wxwidgets.org/ticket/14899#comment:22]?).
