Display plug does not save "Mirror Display" setting

Bug Description

I am using two displays - but I mostly work on a single screen (the second switched off), so I like to switch it to mirroring in the display settings. On the next reboot the display setting "Mirror Display" is re-set again to disabled. I assume the setting is not saved properly.

Also logging out and in again as a user resets the setting to disabled.

Could someone please fix this annoying bug or tell me where to manually set the "Mirrored" option.
