Bug Description
When I run hp-setup on Arch Linux, the printer is detected and added, but printing the test page fails.
Consequently, the printer will not respond to any button presses, and when the USB cable is unplugged and reconnected, will fail to register as a USB device.
Only unplugging the power cord and then plugging it back in makes it respond again.
Under Windows, it works fine, provided it's not already in a crashed state when booting.
To me this suggests that the Linux driver is triggering a bug in the printer that makes it crash.
For some reason Windows does not do this.
I believe this printer used to work under Linux a few years back, using an unknown version of an unknown Linux distro.
I will add the requested hp-blabla output later, once I'm done printing and back in Linux.
Not that I have any hope of this obscure bug in an old printer will gain any attention anytime soon...
