Bug Description

I'm testing the beta iso of plasma 5.

If I select the option "Try Kubuntu Plasma 5" the system shows a black screen with this text:
[ 124.084814] systemd-logind[1400]: Failed to abandon scope session-c9.scope
[ 124.085136] systemd-logind[1400]: Failed to abandon session scope: No such interface 'org.freedesktop.systemd1.Scope' on object at path /org/freedesktop/systemd1/unit/session_2dc9_2escope
After that, the system restarts.

If I select the option to install. The installation finish ok but the system doesn't start.

My test was with the ISO utopic-desktop-amd64.iso of 5th September 2014

This problem persists in the second Beta. I think is a problem with Plasma 5 and not in the system base because in the Ubuntu 14.10 beta 2 the option "Try Ubuntu" works fine.
Any sugestions?

faffing around with virtual terminal startup sequence here, I'll just set it to the other bug as they're so closely related, hopefully latest version of sddm today fixes it

I am having similar behavior with beta 2 in Virtualbox. If I choose to try instead of install, I get a black screen for about 5-10 seconds and then it goes back to the same prompt again asking me if I want to try it or install it. If I choose install, it appears to install successfully, but when it boots I just get a black screen. Not even grub shows up.
