Bug Description

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

After a recent update to Gutsy, X started crashing after a suspend to RAM. It just crashes once and then the GDM login is displayed. The computer is a Thinkpad X60s with an Intel GMA 950 video card. Suspend worked fine before this (with Gutsy). The xserver exits with this error:

Fatal server error:

Including this because of the weird repeated line "set_level status: 0", which is probably unrelated but may not be.

Oh, and the update was within the last two days. It worked great before that.

The same for me on a first generation Macbook. X logs looks exactly the same, except for numbers.

This was a duplicate of #136453, which I didn't find when I originally submitted this report. Thanks for fixing the bug!
