hibernate button gone after Gutsy update

Bug Description

After recent update in Gutsy, hibernate and suspend broken.
1) Hibernate button missing from main menu -> quit
2) Waking up from suspend restarts X completely, forcing to log in and killing previously launched applications

output of 'lshal | grep can_suspend':

  power_management.can_suspend = true (bool)
  power_management.can_suspend_hybrid = false (bool)
  power_management.can_suspend_to_disk = true (bool)
  power_management.can_suspend_to_ram = true (bool)
