Taihsiang Ho, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.

As per http://download.lenovo.com/express/ddfm.html an update to your BIOS is available (2.25). If you update to this following https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BiosUpdate does it change anything? If it doesn't, could you please both specify what happened, and provide the output of the following terminal command:
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date

Thank you for your understanding.

Can you do a system update and test again? There is a fix in ubuntu-drivers-common 0.2.91.7 which should have fixed this bug.

In comment #6, I also noted the desktop rendering is slower under the performance mode (nvidia) than power-saving mode (intel)
Take for example:
1. switch to performance/power-saving mode by the command, prime-select nvidia/intel
2. open the terminal. try to type some words
3. when typing in the words, you could tell the response is different between two modes.

still has this issue.

Please see the attachment

for more details.

Even more, the external monitor via mini-DP port will show incorrect desktop rendering,
but the screen shot looks ok.

Could you please get an nvidia-bug-report.log file with nvidia-bug-report.sh? Preferably with verbose mode validation logging enabled (run `nvidia-xconfig --mode-debug` before starting X).

The attachment contains the log suggested by the 9th comment.
There are logs collected in non-verbose and verbose mode separately and their associated xorg.conf
