Bug Description
Release: Luna with linux-generic-
When my laptop (IdeaPad S210 Touch) wakes up from sleep, the screen has maximum brightness for a second and then it switches to minimum brightness.
I want it to set the brightness level it had before going to sleep.
I think this has something to do with it:
> When I run "xorg --output LVDS1 --off", the screen turns off. That is OK.
> But then I run "xorg --output LVDS1 --auto" and the screen turns on, but resets its brightness to minimum.
Not sure if exactly the same, but I have a similar issue with Loki on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014).
- When I wake the computer from sleep the lock screen shows fine.
- After entering my password to unlock my session, the screen goes dark.
- Hitting either the screen brightness up or down key will restore the brightness to where it was when the computer was suspended (possibly +/- 1 step).
