Bug Description
Binary package hint: apport
Version 0.96
apport is a really nice tool and helps to quickly report bugs.
But there is a problem with KDE apps.
5 minutes ago kontact crashed.
The kde crash manager started with the possibility to show the stacktrace.
Since I do not have the extra packages with the debug symbols installed
that wasn't of any help.
No file was created under /var/crash and the apport gui was not shown.
IIRC for the few KDE app crashes I had (Kicker, Kontact, ...) I never got
an apport report.
Please tell me if I can do anything to track this down.

I have the same problem. kontact crashes when in background very often, and I'm not able to gather crash files, core dumps, etc.
