Bug Description
Web just keeps loading and loading and never gets finished loading many websites. Stalls between 30-60% (progress bar).
Gmail just doesn't get finished. If it does load, refreshes won't work.
Keeping the browser from crashing does not solve the problem the user has, that it is greatly unusable.
This leads to having to use a second (firefox) and sometimes third (chromium for Gmail as webapp) browser.
I prefer the gnome look-and-feel of Web, love it's integration into the desktop, but after a long time of using it with a lot of pains, I'm ready to give up. You can only take so much suffering.
What confounds the frustration experienced is the lack of information, as to what the status of a given application has. If I were informed about glitches, I wouldn't have to waste my time on the web, looking for reports and remedies - that in the end are also just a lot of speculative attempts at solutions.
Please, I need Gnome, and the Browser is a key application.
