12.04 Upgrade error mounting /media/psf

Bug Description
Run on MacBookPro with Parallels 8.0. Upgrade to 12.04 came up so I installed. On reboot "error occurred while mounting /media/psf". No mouse, no way to reload Parallel tools as some posts have recommended. Had to wipe VM and try all over again.
