Bug Description

It's from Debian bug tracker: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=759800

Package: stellarium
Version: 0.13.0-2
Severity: wishlist

As I didn't browse the code, I don't know if this is even possible.

However, it would be nice to be able to manually (automagically?) lower FPS (and CPU). eg: on my laptop, stellarium take almost 1 core out of 4 100% of the time, which is annoying as stellar fun is ragging the laptop outside and confront observation w/ calculus.

Night mode should also be configurable (RGB would be good:) or at least available in green & dark gray.

Long details (upper left text block when clicking an object) is almost unreadable during the day (text is gray, sky is light blue, bad mixing).

Anyway, this is a tremendous software (just missing a dome and a 180° video projector;), thanks.

The point about night mode being red-only is being RED ONLY. Dim red light does less harm to dark-adapted eyes than green or blue. --> WON'T FIX, IMHO.

Text with better contrast (e.g. with black drop shadow) would be welcome, indeed.

Very nice, thanks!
I cannot get the correct CSS command for drop shadows. Or is it just not supported in Qt? Else all that is required might be a change in data/gui/normalStyle.css. But where (which tag ) to configure/change exactly?
