Bug Description
Ubuntu 14.10 r203
1. Navigate to the keypad screen of the phone app.
2. Clear any number present.
3. Hold down any key except "0" or "1", then release it.
4. Delete the number entered.
5. Hold down "1", then release it.
What happens:
3. The number is entered.
5. The 1 is entered, then disappears.
What should happen:
5. The 1 is entered, and remains.
It's understandable that holding down "0" doesn't enter 0, because it enters "+" instead. But there doesn't seem to be any reason for a "1" to be entered then erased.

not seeing this issue on build 210
Note: long pressing on 1 will dial voice mail. There is an open bug that if your sim doesn't have voice mail you get no feedback. Perhaps this is what you are seeing and causing the number to disappear.
