Bug Description
I've implemented CD importing using gstreamer. No new dependencies AFAIK. Here's the lowdown:
* You can rip CDs to MP3, Ogg Vorbis or FLAC (they show up in the list when available)
* You define a directory where the tracks are imported. This directory is always added to the library manager. Another option allows you to provide a string so that Exaile builds a directory
structure based on song metadata
* you can skip most of this and instead provide your own gstreamer pipeline definition (for very
advanced users only).
* The import is shown in a dialog (it's quite ugly, I'm bad at design! perhaps someone would like
prettify it)
* You perform an import by opening an audio disc, right clicking in the "playlist" and choosing import > import selected track(s) or import > import CD
I'm attaching the first patch for people to try out. There's still some stuff broken, especially the import directory isn't always scanned for tracks etc. I'll sort out the bugs during the weekend and next week.
This ticket was migrated from the old trac: re #648
