Customizable order for Collections

Currently in collections you are stuck with the ablity to only change the first tier of sorting.
Example: If you want to sort by genre the next sort under that is currently artist.
The problem with this is that it would be better if you could use more then one way of sorting them. Preferably a fully customizable tier system which you can select what the order is made by for each level.

I am thinking about the following situations:
User has a huge collection he sorts by genre and do to the way his albums are organized numerous artist exist for each album. Because of this he wants to use Genre, then Album instead to sort his music.

Yes, I miss my sort order (and display) from Amarok, which is much more useful for me:
Artist
   |-----> Year - Album
                          |------> Tracknumber - Trackname

Here's a patch that adds options to sort by:
Genre - Artist
Genre - Album
Year - Artist
Year - Album

If having a little more control (like being able to choose the first two or three sorting levels) is preferred, I could try to work that in as well. I these four options (only three are actually new, "Genre - Artist" is the same as the "Genre" option now) cover most of what people are looking for though.

Also, someone probably needs to make a unique Year image (maybe a little clock or something?), as right now I'm using the Artist image as a placeholder.

maybe it would be possible, to show the album title in the same hirarchy as the year somethinf like:

artist
-- 1994 - our first album
-- 1994 - our second album
-- 2000 - our last album

I have a patch which combines year and album as fabs mentions above - this makes it more useful than sorting by year and then by album. Might be a bit hacky though...

expanded options were added in 0.2.14, full flexibility will come later in 0.3.x.
