Bug Description

Hi,

the init script /etc/init.d/xorg-common needs /lib/lsb/init-functions from
lsb-base, but xorg-common doesn not depend on lsb-base.. Is a dependency needed
here?

mdz, is this the case? Else, surely every other package with an init script
would need to dep on lsb-base ...

Every package which uses /lib/lsb/init-functions needs to depend on lsb-base (>=
1.3-9ubuntu2)

actually the packages missing the dependancy on lsb-base are not that frequent.
I did a quick scan of the packages installed on my computer and came up with 6
others beside xorg-common that seems to be missing it (alsa-base,
apache2-common, dbus-1, evms, gdm, and readahead). Should I fill individual bug
reports of each of them?
