Bug Description
For some reason, Ubuntu Software Center became unable to log me into my "Ubuntu One" account (I had logged in using the same credentials a few hours earlier), but this is not a bug report for that. I tried to reset the password and it came back and told me the e-mail address was not recognized (I used the same e-mail address and password to log into the website to post this report). When I tried to create a new Ubuntu-One account using my usual e-mail address, I was unable to proceed because the "Capcha" images have become so hard to read there is no way, even with use of a magnifying glass, that I could make out the characters in the image (one of the more readable samples attached as a screenshot). I refreshed and tried again. And again. And again. Then I started counting. Over an hour, and 120 Capcha images later, I gave up and logged in via the website through a browser.
The problem is that the Capcha images have become so smeared and obscured that I am unable to decode any of them, it seems. An alternative to the Capcha images should be offered; solve a math or logic word problem, for example. I have a combination of vision problems, along with dyslexia. Reliance on Capcha without alternatives has made on-line activity a miserable experience much of the time. I can't post comments on many websites anymore, and now I can't even force Ubuntu Software Center to admit that my Ubuntu-One account already exists.
This is an accessibility issue, and should be addressed in a near-term future update of the software center.

Note that I was trying to reinstall previous apps, not use cloud storage; this is the "Single Sign-On" account that I also use for Launchpad.
