Screen not properly repainting after attempted Alt+Tab between applications.

With a root terminal and Firefox open I attempted to tab between the 2
applications. I founf that I could not tab back to Firefox and that when I tried
to move the root terminal the scren did not repaint properly (I have a
screenshot on file if necessary)

Sounds like one of the programs involved crashed. If you can reproduce this
problem at will, let us know which program it is which is not being repainted
(firefox or gnome-terminal) so that this bug can be assigned to that package.

Have sinced moved to Hoary.

Was reproduced using steps provided above.

I have the same problem. It is not the problem of application hangs.

My problem:
I have firefox and terminal opened. But when i press alt+tab, I can only see firefox icon. but not terminal icon. The same happened when using Midori browser. But, i can use the applications by clicking it on the launcher. As the application is working well when clicking its icon on launcher, the application did not crash. It is the problem with unity.

I have this problem in 12.04 beta. I've never faced this broblem in 11.10.
