Bug Description
I do not see the XFCE panel when I start XFCE. I can use teh pulldown menu, but many of the selections do not work either. I cannot log out from the pull down, either, I have to type Ctrl Alt Backspace to get out, which may be what causes this exception.
I began this distro from Tribe 5, starting with the Kubuntu desktop. I then added other additional desktop and window managers, including the Xubuntu desktop. I checked to see if the XFCE panel was included in the apps downloaded and it was. Kubuntu works fine, but Xubuntu is broken; should be possible to have both.
Not sure if the method I used to pull in XFCE is what is behind the problem, but even so, it appears to be a bug.
