Bug Description
ChrisM says that waitress's channel_timeout setting *might* be a candidate for canceling requests that take a long time. It defaults to 2 minutes.
This idea has the obvious upside but also some downsides. For example, it would mask problems that we really should fix. For this task, just do an investigation.
