Mediainfo isn't packaged in Debian nor in Ubuntu. The Debian status " Fix Released" is wrong, the bug has been closed because of inactivity, not fixed.

Hmm, I'm willing to put this together if I can get it working. I'm wondering how they're generating their .deb on their site, as they don't provide a source package (maybe they're just using something like checkinstall).

Does anyone can provide an update about this? If this "request" is dead, I'll put together a new source package and upload it to REVU. Maybe that way they'll include it in the repositories then. (Or any other idea?)

As far as I know it means we are waiting for an Ubuntu developer to pack it. That's all.

Anyway, here is the 'official' PPA until then. Jerome (the author of MediaInfo) knows about this and if you encounter with any problem/error, feel free to contact me. I'll reply/fix it ASAP.
