Bug Description

The device name only comes from querying the system, currently calling `getprop ro.product.device`. If this command doesn't exist (as can be the case on desktop), then you get back a generic '?' for the device name. It would be useful to allow the optional channel.ini file to override the device name. This would require adding `device` to the [service] stanza.

Probably with

[service]
device =

(i.e. empty) to mean "use the hook".
