Bug Description

I upgraded my Xubuntu 13.04 to 14.04 lately, and since then sometimes if I suspend my machine with chromium-browser running, after the resume Chromium looks like it does not receive keyboard input. All other windows work fine. The bug does not occur with all suspends, I suspect that Chromium has to be the active window before the suspend.

Chromium version: Version 34.0.1847.116 Ubuntu 14.04 aura (260972)

I see the same problem on Openbox. The system is configured with minimal Ubuntu server + openbox + chromium-browser. When I return from pm-suspend, Chromium stops responding for most part. I can still click on each tab and the title updates but the tabs don't switch. If I close the window and re-run chromium-browser, I get a window with transparent background. There is no way to enter url.

László (any anyone else affected),

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to review all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Do you still see a problem related to the one that you reported? Please let us know if you do as I cannot reproduce the issue with Ubuntu 18.04 and Chromium 68.

If we do not hear from you this bug report will expire in approximately 60 days time.

Thank you for helping make Ubuntu better.
