Bug Description
Currently the marconi-bench tool makes uses of gevent and monkey patched requests, ideally it should be work with all python versions supported in the gate.
Perhaps look at asyncio, which is now part of python 3.4 stdlib

I think it's important to do this, but we probably don't have time until k-1. May I also suggest trollius as a possible solution?
