Bug Description

i'm using hugin 64bit on a windows 7 machine with an Intel GMA X4500MHD.

in version 2011.0.0, when i opened the OpenGL preview for the first time it worked; after i closed it and tried opening it for the second time, hugin crashed.

in current version (2013.0.0), as the OpenGL preview is set as the default preview mode (in simple interface, at least), hugin crashes after loading a bunch of images - i assume it's because of the same reason, a fault with reinitialization of the OpenGL preview window.

the windows app crash dialog says this (it's in Czech, but imho it should be easily decipherable):

Podpis problému:
  Název události problému: APPCRASH

I'd like to see if this problem can be reproduced, using your project, on a different system.
Not sure if it will help, but we may learn something.
Using hugin-2013.0.0, could you set the interface to 'advanced' or 'expert', and not opening the Fast Panorama preview window, load you images, then create control points, then save the .pto file.
Please add that .pto file as an attachment here.

Cheers,
Terry

okay, i switched hugin to expert mode and after i figured out how to disable the Fast Preview window opening at start, i did what you asked me to do, see attachment.

i had to disable the automatic opening of the fast preview because then hugin would crash immediately after loading images.

my original bug can still be reproduced on my system; open the fast preview (all images are underneatch each other), click "2. Align," the aligning with progress in the text window happens, and after that's done, hugin crashes.

No problem here with your project. I can run through various optimisation
steps, with the Fast panorama preview window open. Attached is a
screenshot.
I am running on Fedora 20, nvidia card and nouveau graphics driver, using
hugin-2014.1.0, so it is possible that the problem is confined to Windows,
or the intel graphics, or is not present in the current development source.
Are you able to try the current release candidate, hugin-2014.0.0 RC4?

Cheers,

hi,

i'm trying to run 2014.0.0 RC4 32bit Hugin, but so far i've gotten an antivirus alert for linefind.exe and a missing MSVCR120D.dll (even after installing the vcredist 2013 package).

it very well might be an intel related issue, as on my other pc (same setup, but desktop + nvidia gpu) hugin runs perfectly.

The missing dll is a known issue, I believe the packager will be fixing
that problem shortly.
That dll is available on the web...provided some care is taken that you
don't get a copy with virus.
