thanks for reporting this bug. It looks like you have quite a few errors in the last upgrade:

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of procps:
 procps depends on initscripts; however:
  Package initscripts is not configured yet.

 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

Could you please show what happens when you do:

ls -l /sbin/init
sudo apt-get update
