Bug Description

We have an Acer Aspire S7 with coRe i3 and SSD in Raid 0. Tried to install Ubuntu 14.04 but the install crashes at every atemt. It looks like it does so after the install reaches "checking harware". It is strange cause when "trying" Ubuntu 14.04 from the same usb boot key, it workes just fine, exept a couple of crashes. So it seem it just can't install it on this computer. Might it be du to the Raid 0 configuration of the SSD drive? Hope you can help us out, we deleeted Windows 8.1 from the computer in the process of trying to install the Ubuntu. What to do?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Reviewing your log files attached to this bug report it seems that there is a problem with your installation media (CD/DVD). You can verify the integrity of the Ubuntu ISO files you downloaded by following the instructions at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM. You might also retry your installation with new media. In the event that is is not in fact an error with your installation media please set the bug's status back to New. Thanks and good luck!
