eth0 stays inactive after start

Bug Description

Ubuntu Gutsy, 2.6.22-10-generic, latest updates
network-manager-kde version 1:0.2ubuntu1-0ubuntu1
It started about a week ago, still there are no update.
IP is given by DHCP.
And at the system start eth0 is configured (if type sudo ifup eth0, it says that), but no IP and red cross over icon.
Solution:
sudo ifdown eth0
sudo ifup eth0
