Bug Description

This is a very wishlist-like bug, but I think the spacing between the arrow in the app groups in the taskbar and the actual app name is too small.

e.g., http://xtknight.atothosting.com/images/taskbar_groups.png

It is rather unsightly and looks unpolished, especially for the Firefox, Qtpfsgui, and Terminal groups shown above.

Now the icon does not exist anymore but instead looks like this (like a poor effort at transparency).

Thank you for your bug. Could you attach your screenshot to the bug rather than giving an url to download it? What change would you suggest exactly?

I would suggest that when application groups are enabled, the maximum length for the caption of a taskbar item be one character shorter. I also suggest that the original icon be used. This way, the original icon along with the shortened application title would allow a better appearance. If the application title has to be expanded, the ellipsis should also not overlap the icon. Either the app title should be one character shorter, or a few pixels shorter.

This may only be happening with higher DPIs actually.
