Thank you Antonio for your report,

Please can you confirm that the crash is reproducible with the last mozilla-thunderbird built for edgy: 1.5.0.13-0ubuntu0.6.10

Thanks in advance.

I've forgot to mention that If you try to reproduce the crash, first disable any third party extension/plugin you have installed; for example disable the extension that provides this third part component: /opt/google/desktop/plugin/thunderbird/components/libdesktop.so

Hi, thank you for your report and trying to make ubuntu better. I see you were reporting this against the edgy distribution which is being end-of-lifed (http://www.ubuntu.com/news/ubuntu610end-of-life). I am closing this report now but feel free to reopen with the information that was requested if you can reproduce the problem with a more recent version of TB.
