create ubuntu software center account captcha is impossible to solve

I spent half an hour laboriously squinting at the deplorably poorly resolved xored captcha word pairs and didn't get a single one right! I finally gave up and no longer use the program. This should be changed to something much more reasonab le - all I had to do to get this account was to type in the three numbers above a picture of a door!

Yes, the captcha used by Ubuntu Software Centre is completely unusable. How does anyone manage to create an account?

Don't give space between the two words. It worked for me.

Sign up on https://login.ubuntu.com/ for email validation instead of captcha. :)

I tried over 30 captchas and eventually gave up.
Never happened to me before, what a stupid way to try and validate that I am human!!!

I tried for half an hour, I was sure I was getting almost half of them right but I always was including a space. So you're not supposed to put a space even though every other two word captcha does? This captcha is ridiculous! People are going to give up. I had to sign up from https://login.ubuntu.com.
The bug entries for not being able to make an account should be accessible by people who don't have accounts - otherwise you get a catch 22.

I gave up, even after trying no spaces in between the things I could barely make out, and still no use. I want this as a door sign and lock for my house. NO ONE would ever get in. Not even me.
