missing firmware for epson, could maybe be included in non-free drivers

Bug Description

I've seen that the epkowa driver has been included in the sane-backends-extras... That's good. The point is that some scanner (maybe all ?) need a firmware from epson. In my case, and I don't know if the same firmware is needed by all, it is the one included in iscan-plugin-gt-s600-2.0.0-1.c2.i386.rpm
 available from http://www.avasys.jp/english/linux_e/dl_scan.html.
That's why I'm asking is there a possibility to package this firmware, like other proprietary packages in ubuntu : to let the user install it easily by clicking on proprietary driver in the corresponding menu from gnome or kde...
