Bug Description

After a fresh install this morning using alternate-i386 I have no sound on my C2D macbook. Previous to this fresh installation I had done a dist-upgrade to Gutsy and sound *did* work. This appears to be a regression.

I'm not sure what package is responsible but I'm willing to go digging for whatever is needed.

There was recently an update to linux-ubuntu-modules and I was wondering if this resolved your issue. Thanks in advance.
