Nework doesn't work after hardware upgrade

Hello!

at first: sorry for my english and sorry if i duplicate an existing bug.

Today i'm just upgrading RAM in my computer from 256 mb to 1 gb. After this upgrade i wasn't able to acces the network after start the gnome session. I was able to open e.g. ubuntu com website, but after a while i can't surf the web.

ifconfig showed then 3 interfaces:

eth0
etho:avah
lo

In the same time system works slower than i expected.
After that, i was removed avahi demon form the system, everything works fine and much better.

I don't know how can i help you to diagnose this problem, but i just want to help :)

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 beta or later?
