Bug Description

When I watch a 23.976fps video on my TV @ 23.976hz I have A/V desync. The audio is earlier than video. It's progressively out of sync. At 60hz there is no problem.

I have a Nvidia GT430 card and I installed proprietary drivers v. 331.38.
I tested with mpv with vdpau and opengl outputs and it's the same. Note that mpv is not redirected in fullscreen.

The problem occur only with Compiz (Unity). I have tested with openbox, gnome-session-fallback (metacity), etc... and it works good at 23.976hz.

Note that with totem or mpv with xv output no desync but a lot of tearing...

Ubuntu 14.04 LTS x64
Nvidia GT 430
Proprietary drivers 331.38

I switch to Netrunner and it works perfectly. Not to mention the quality of the KDE desktop.
