This 60n GB used SSD hard drive had GPT table for 2 tries, then I replaced it with msdos table before the third try. Second try I left off the updates option. Third try I did manual partitioning.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates.
