Bug Description
Error occured while doing automatic update via Update Manager. No idea of the the details... I am submitting as guided by the bug report module. I had a failed Hardware Enablement Stack update a few days ago though. My AMD display driver was lost and have to re-install using the Catalyst run package from AMD using the binary installation method. It wasn't a total success also but just able to keep my PC video running. The other Catalyst utiliities are not runnable.

After some research, I guess my bug is a duplicate of https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ fglrx-installer /+bug/1254424
The latest Catalyst beta (14.6 Beta, released 07/14/2014) solves my problem. I have a fully functional video now.
